Curriculum
In this semester, we are planning to finish three units which focus on the topic of "Our Festival", "Earning Pocket Money", and "Young Poeple's World" respectively.
Unit 1. (Jan 8 - Feb 22) Our Festival我们的节日
Getting back from the winter holiday, with the Spring Festival just around the corner, the first unit of our Chinese B Advanced class in the new semester focuses on the theme of "Our Festival".
We will explore some Guiding Questions:Why do people celebrate festivals? How do Chinese people celebrate Spring Festival?
We will research the relevant topics, have discussions, write essays, making posters, and present in both oral and written form the final product.
We will also do a lot of preparation for the Chinese New Year's Assembly.
