Glance of the Week
The focus of this week is to study the historical background knowledge of the traditional Chinese Temple Fair. Students are encouraged to do some initial research about Temple Fair, discuss about it, and then study a text. Finally, they will experience personally a Temple Fair to be held on campus as part of the celebration of the Chinese New Year.
In the meantime, Grade 8 Advanced class will continue the rehearsal for their performance on the Chinese New Year's Assembly.
Monday - Day 1 - no class Tuesday - Day 2 - Period 2
Following the guest martial arts teacher, students of Grade 8 continue practising for the Kongfu performance. Wednesday - Day3 - Period 4
Students start their research on the Temple Fair. Thursday - Day4 - Period 3
Final rehearsal of Grade 8 Chinese Kongfu performance for CNY assembly in the theatre. Friday - Day5 - Period 5
(Student attend the Temple Fair and CNY assembly in the morning.)
After a discussion based on their research results, students start studying a text about Temple Fair, working on the vocabulary first. －edited by Qing.doc
